We stand behind our work with a simple promise: if you're not satisfied at the end of our live handover session, you get your money back. No questions asked, no complicated process.
1.1 How It Works
- Every project includes a live handover session
- We demonstrate all deliverables and ensure everything works
- If you're not satisfied by the end of this session, we'll refund your payment
- Simple as that β your smile is our success metric
2. Refund Scenarios
2.1 Full Refund (100%)
Available when:
- Project cancelled before work begins
- We fail to deliver within agreed timeline (excluding client-caused delays)
- Deliverables don't match agreed specifications
- You're not satisfied at the end of handover session
- We determine we cannot complete the project as specified
2.2 Partial Refund
May apply when:
- Project cancelled mid-way due to client circumstances
- Scope changes requested that affect project completion
- Client-caused delays that prevent project completion
Partial refunds are calculated based on work completed and will be discussed transparently.
2.3 No Refund
When refunds are not available:
- Project completed successfully and client is satisfied
- Client violates Terms of Service
- Abusive or inappropriate behavior toward our team
- More than 30 days after project completion
3. Service-Specific Refund Terms
3.1 Streaming Services
- OBS Kickstart: Full refund if stream doesn't achieve 1080p60 smooth performance on your hardware
- Brand Starter: Full refund if designs don't meet professional standards or your vision
- Monetize Setup: Full refund if monetization features aren't properly configured and working
3.2 Web & App Development
- Landing Page Sprint: Full refund if page isn't responsive, fast-loading, or conversion-ready
- App Prototype: Full refund if core feature isn't functional or prototype isn't deployable
- AI Quickstart: Full refund if AI integration doesn't work as specified or isn't cost-optimized
3.3 Consulting Services
- Free audit calls are always no-cost
- Paid consulting refunded if recommendations aren't actionable or valuable
4. Refund Process
4.1 Requesting a Refund
To request a refund:

- Include your project details and reason for refund
- We'll respond within 24 hours
- Most refunds are processed immediately during handover sessions
4.2 Processing Time
- During handover session: Immediate decision and processing
- Post-project: 1-2 business days for review
- Payment processing: 3-7 business days depending on payment method
4.3 Refund Methods
Refunds are issued to the original payment method:
- Credit card: 3-5 business days
- PayPal: 1-2 business days
- Wire transfer: 5-7 business days
5. What Happens After Refund
5.1 Deliverables
Upon refund:
- All project files and access are returned to youownme
- Any live implementations are rolled back (where possible)
- Client accounts and passwords remain with client
- Documentation and training materials are withdrawn
5.2 Future Services
Refunds don't affect future service eligibility. We encourage trying again if circumstances change.
6. Dispute Resolution
We aim to resolve all refund requests amicably:
- First: Direct communication with our team
- Second: Escalation to management review
- Third: Mediation if needed
- Final: Binding arbitration (only for complex cases)
7. Special Circumstances
7.1 Force Majeure
In cases of natural disasters, technical failures beyond our control, or other extraordinary circumstances, we'll work with clients to find fair solutions including refunds when appropriate.
7.2 Platform Changes
If third-party platforms (OBS, Twitch, etc.) make changes that affect delivered work, we'll provide updates when possible or discuss refund options.

This refund policy may be updated periodically. Changes will be communicated via:

- Updated effective date
Active projects remain under the policy version in effect when the project began.
